FUNCTION xpxCreateNestedTypedAggrByIndex(aggrId        : AGGREGATE OF GENERIC;
                                         index         : INTEGER;
                                         typePath      : LIST OF GENERIC;
                                         VAR newAggrId : AGGREGATE OF GENERIC)
                                         Status        : INTEGER;

The xpxCreateNestedTypedAggrByIndex function will create an element in the parentAggrId aggregate. The created aggregate will be typed according to the typePath, which is a list of type ids. This function is applicable for aggregates of type LIST and ARRAY and the position to place the created aggregate is given by index. If the aggregate is of type LIST and the index is out of bounds the nested aggregate is appended in stead of replacing an existing, as is the case when the index is within the bounds.
This function is equivalent to the EDMinterface^ function edmiCreateNestedTypedAggrByIndex
