Objective

Jotne EPM Technology AS develops and sells as part of their product suite EXPRESS Data Manager™ (EDM) the EDMtruePLM product to support product life cycle management.

Installation

Please refer to the ref [1], EDMtruePLM installation guide.

Major updates

This release includes the following major updates since release 2.3:

1. Release: 2.3 was the last release with a desktop client. Release 3 uses web-browsers as clients. Thus, there is no separate client installer; all required EDMtruePLM specific components are installed by the component called "Server installer" in Table 2.
2. AP242: Now user can import AP242 BO XML without RDL class error. Also, this version has latest AP242 converters.
3. Export: Documents can be exported using 'Export to zipped folder'.
4. Integration for sensor data: EDMtruePLM can be used as a repository to receive and send data from sensors. This helps to collect real time data.
5. Json File: Json file format is used to upload aggregate data using REST services in EDMtruePLM.
6. PLCS: PLCS services is updated for TruePLM aggregate properties.
7. User-defined properties: Special user-defined properties such HCNT, CI_ID can be defined at the time of a node creation.
8. Organisation: User can create organisation to reference the related breakdown element.
9. Links: With this feature, user can create relationship between different node elements.
10. Product: This feature allows user to define a Product and its associated properties.

Testing

Jotne has run this release through its in-house regression tests and acceptance test.

• Application
  • No Auto opening of files in the Dependency tab
  • No icon for a document file of format 'ppt'
  • Manual versioning is not enabled
