xpfGetSourceInstance

FUNCTION xpfGetSourceInstance (targetInstance : GENERIC)
                               sourceInstance : GENERIC;
                

The xpfGetSourceInstance function finds the connected source instance from a specified target instance. A connection between the target instance and the source instance must be defined by the xpxMapInstance function before this function can be executed successfully. The target instance is specified in the targetInstance argument and the connected source instance is returned by the function. If no connected source instance is found for the specified <targetInstance>, then the function returns zero.
