xpfGetUser

FUNCTION xpfGetUser (userName : STRING)
                     userId   : GENERIC;

The xpfGetUser function returns the numeric instanceID, in the argument <userId>, that uniquely identifies the EDMuser instance, as specified in the <userName> argument, in the EDMdatabase
