xpfIsInstanceOf

FUNCTION xpfIsInstanceOf (instanceId, entityId : GENERIC)
                          isInstanceOf         : BOOLEAN;

The xpfIsInstanceOf function determines whether an instance, as specified in the <instanceId> argument, is an instance of exactly the specified instance type, as specified in the <entityId> argument. This function returns TRUE in the argument <isInstanceOf> if the specified instance is of exactly the specified instance type, else FALSE is returned. The model that holds the actual instance must be open before this operation can be successfully performed.
