SYNTAX:
 
xpfGetAttr (instanceId : GENERIC;
            attrId     : GENERIC)
            attrValue  : GENERIC;
 
The xpfGetAttr function returns the data value of the specified attribute in the actual instance. The value is returned in the argument <attrValue>. The actual instance is specified by a numeric instanceID, <instanceId>, that uniquely identifies an instance in the EDMdatabase. The actual attribute is specified by a numeric attributeID, <attrId>, that uniquely identifies an attribute definition instance in the EDMdatabase.
The model that holds the actual instance must be open before this function can be successfully performed.
The <attrId> can be retrieved by the xpxGetAttrDefinition and xpxGetAttrDefinitionBN functions.
This function is equivalent to the EDMinterface function sdaiGetAttr.
