SYNTAX:
 
xpfGetGroup (groupName : STRING)
             groupId   : GENERIC;
 
The xpfGetGroup function returns the groupID <groupId> for the specified group name <groupName>.
This function is equivalent to the EDMinterface function edmiGetGroup.
