SYNTAX:
 
xpfIsVolatileInstance (instance   : GENERIC)
                       isVolatile : LOGICAL;
 
The xpfIsVolatileInstance function checks if the specified instance is a volatile instance. Volatile instances are created by the EDMexpressVM as result of reading a Derive attribute, invoking an EDMquery function or running other ?programs? in EDMexpressVM.
Volatile instances are never persistent in an EDMdatabase.
In this operation an instance means both entity instance and aggregate instance.
This function is equivalent to the EDMinterface function edmiIsVolatileInstance.
