SYNTAX:
 
xpxGetAttrPrimitiveType (attrId                : GENERIC;
                          VAR attrPrimitiveType : INTEGER)                         status                : INTEGER;
 
The xpxGetAttrprimitiveType function returns the primitive data type of the specified attribute attrId. The actual data type is returned in the argument attrPrimitiveType as one of the following integer constants;
xpxNUMBER, xpxINTEGER, xpxREAL, xpxSTRING, xpxBOOLEAN, xpxLOGICAL, xpxBINARY, xpxINSTANCE, xpxAGGREGATE, xpxSELECT
This function is equivalent to the EDMinterface^ function edmiGetAttrPrimitiveType
