xpxDeleteInstanceAndReferences

FUNCTION xpxDeleteInstanceAndReferences (instanceId : GENERIC)
                                         status     : INTEGER;

The xpxDeleteInstanceAndReferences function deletes the specified instance and all relations to the specified instance. Hence this operation is a combination of xpxDeleteInstanceReferences and xpxDeleteInstance operations. This function is only applicable for application instances. The data model that holds the specified instance must be open for write access to enable a successful execution of this function. Normally an instance cannot be deleted as long as any other instances have relations to the instance to delete, i.e., all references to the instance must be deleted before the instance can be deleted. This default behavior can be overruled by system configuration settings.
