Protect Model

Modify access rights for a specific existing model. The available access rights are read, write, or none. Write access implies read access. Read access implies search access, i.e. Data>FindInstances. The default model protection is taken from the owners default model protection which is set by UserAdm>Set default protection and displayed by UserAdm.>Show default protection .
Only the owner of a model is allowed to change the access rights for the model.
Arguments:

Repository:

Name of the open repository that holds the model to protect. Repository names are case sensitive.
When activating the Select button, the name of all open repositories will be displayed in the related selection list.

Model:

Specify the name of the model to protect. Model names are case sensitive.
When activating the Select button, the name of all models located in the repository(ies) specified by the <Repository> argument will be displayed in the related selection list.

Owner access:

Specify access rights for the model owner. Legal is one of none, read, or write. The access rights specification can be abbreviated as long as it is unambiguous.
When activating the Select button, the three legal alternatives none, read, and write will be displayed.

Group access:

Specify access rights for all users that is logged-in with the same EDMgroup account as the owner group of the actual model. Legal is one of none, read, or write. The access rights specification can be abbreviated as long as it is unambiguous.
When activating the Select button, the three legal alternatives none, read, and write will be displayed.

Public access:

Specify access rights for all users that is not the model owner and is not logged-in with the same EDMgroup account as the owner group of the actual model. Legal is one of none, read, or write. The access rights specification can be abbreviated as long as it is unambiguous.
When activating the Select button, the three legal alternatives none, read, and write will be displayed.

Options:

accumulating command output:

A global option that appends the command output to the EDMsupervisor output window. Otherwise the output window is refreshed and only the last command output is displayed.

match selected input:

A global option that specifies that only items that partly or exactly matches the string in the related argument input field when activating a Select button, will be in the selection list. An empty (blank) string will match all items.
