Delete Database

Delete an existing EDMdatabase, i.e. delete all data belonging to the actual database. After this command is performed, the actual database is non existing. Only closed databases can be deleted.
Arguments:

Directory path:

Specify the path to the directory where the EDMdatabase is located. The <Directory path> must be specified as an absolute path.
The <Directory path> argument can be specified with and without the directory delimiter character as the last character in the directory path. The directory delimiter character is '\' on the Windows platforms and '/' on the Unix platforms.
When activating the Select button, a window is opened to allow browsing the directory structure and select/specify the desired directory.

Database:

Specify the name of the EDMdatabase to delete. EDMdatabase names are case sensitive. The actual database must be closed.
When activating the Select button, the names of all EDMdatabases that are located in the file directory specified in the <Directory path> are displayed in the related selection list.

Password:

Specify the password of the actual database. The password of an EDMdatabase is defined when the database is created.

Options:

accumulating command output:

A global option that appends the command output to the EDMsupervisor output window. Otherwise the output window is refreshed and only the last command output is displayed.

match selected input:

A global option that specifies that only items that partly or exactly matches the string in the related argument input field when activating a Select button, will be in the selection list. An empty (blank) string will match all items.
