FUNCTION xpxDeleteIterator (iteratorId : GENERIC)
                            status     : INTEGER;

The xpxDeleteIterator function deletes the specified iterator iteratorId from the EDM system. Each created iterator will occupy resources in the system, hence it is a good practice to delete an iterator when there is no more use of it.
