Terminate EDM Server
Stops the EDMserver. The actual EDMserver process will terminate when all active users have disconnected. No new connections can be established after the Server>Terminate command is performed, but users already connected will not be affected by this command.
This command is protected by a password for other users than the superuser.
Arguments:
Password: |
Specify the password of the superuser. If no user is connected to the actual EDMserver, then this command is legal for all users. If the calling user is already connected as superuser, then this argument is a dummy. |
Appserver clientId: |
The clientId that identifies the EDMapplicationServer process to stop. If the option [all_servers] is used, this parameter will be neglected. |
Options:
accumulating command output: |
A global option that appends the command output to the EDMsupervisor output window. Otherwise the output window is refreshed and only the last command output is displayed. |
all servers: |
Stop the EDMserver and all its connected EDMapplicationServer processes. |
force to terminate: |
Do not allow time for the EDMapplicationServer process to complete an ongoing transaction before disconnecting it. |
