FUNCTION xpxGetAttrPrimitiveTypeBN(schemaName ,entityName , attributeName : STRING; 
                                   VAR attrPrimitiveType                  : INTEGER)
                                   status                                 : INTEGER;

The xpxGetAttrprimitiveTypeBN function returns the primitive data type of the specified attribute. The actual attribute is unambiguous specified by the arguments schemaName, entityName, and attributeName. The actual data type is returned in the argument attrPrimitiveType as one of the following integer constants: xpxNUMBER, xpxINTEGER, xpxREAL, xpxSTRING, xpxBOOLEAN, xpxLOGICAL, xpxBINARY, xpxINSTANCE, xpxAGGREGATE, xpxSELECT.
