FUNCTION xpxIsKindOfBN (instanceId    : GENERIC;
                        entityName    : STRING;
                        VAR isKindOf  : BOOLEAN)
                        status        : INTEGER;

The xpxIsKindOf function returns TRUE in the isKindOf argument if the specified instance instanceId is of the type, or a subtype of the instance type specified by the argument entityName.

Arguments

Type	Name	Comment
GENERIC	instanceId	The id of the instance to be checked
STRING	entityName	The name of the type, ENTITY, to be used in the compassion
BOOLEAN	isKindOf	TRUE if the instanceId type matches the type of the entityName

Return Value
